Australian Koi Association Mid Northern NSW The Australian Koi Association Mid North Coast Branch
was formed on behalf of several Koi Enthusiast AKA Mid Northern NSW Branch

Yes! It's now official.

The AKA has a new branch, Mid Northern NSW. The Branch started from a group of Koi enthusiasts looking to form a club where they could learn more about Koi with like minded people. After hearing this I had the same thoughts so I decided to contact a Koi friend Graham Fameli, who happened to be the Vice President of the AKA. Say no more! Graham created his magic and in no time it was all done. Ther

e is a lot of work ahead of us but everyone is keen to make it a success. We are all thankful for the AKA supporting us and are looking forward to the exciting future of our Branch.

Don't you just love our Inazuma Kohaku from the Hoshikin stable?

Do you think they will wake up soon.

Do you think they will wake up soon.

An Ecologist whose focus is on the Coorong and Lower Lakes has told the Murray Valley Standard that the carp herpes virus is more of a threat to the River than the carp themselves.

Another report on KHV. ... when will they wake up!

Another report on KHV. ... when will they wake up!

Perhaps a slower-working solution is what the Murray-Darling Basin needs, Ms Coleman says.

Carp Herpes Virus Update.....................
- ABC Landline has advised they will broadcast a feature on Sunday 13th May - Tune in at 12:30pm. The program is usually repeated on Monday or can be viewed online via iView.

This feature is a direct result of a proposal that was put together several months ago by the hard work of Simon Chapman, Martin Rocliffe, Kate & Ian Andrews and Bradly Bradly. However, plenty of other people have contributed indirectly with information that was used in the preparation of the proposal.

The program should cover aspects across a number of the issues we have raised, including the recent Water NSW research at Prospect Reservoir, that found water could become undrinkable and Australian river ecosystems may become wiped out.

Please note, as this is an ABC program, it should deliver a balanced view, with arguments from both sides, including the NCCP.

Please like and share this information.

ps. I am unsure if my overseas friends will be able to view the program if iView is geo-blocked. If this is the case, I am investigating alternative means of access.
