This week we welcomed Miss Gabby to HPAC, the students loved her classes.
Introducing Miss Gabby ARAD, RTS, CBTS, Diploma of Screen & Media RAD Ballet Teacher, Silver Swans Licensee.
Gabby grew up in the Blue Mountains, where her love of ballet began at age 4 with Susan Weule of Classe Dance Academy in Leura.
Gabby trained at ballet schools in the Blue Mountains, Sydney and Brisbane. Under the guidance of many inspiring teachers she studied comprehensive Ballet Technique, Repertoire, National Character, Jazz and Contemporary Dance. Stand out tutors include Garth Welsh AM, Li Cunxin AO, Mary Li, Hillary Kaplan and Lucinda Dunne OAM.
Whilst broadening her full time studies, Gabby obtained a Diploma of Screen & Media (Makeup & Hair), at the same time also achieving RAD Advanced 2 status. As a consequence, she gained the Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance (ARAD) qualification.
Gabby is also a Professional Makeup Artist working with private clients, bridal parties, on film sets, in advertising and television for the past 10 years.
Gabby has a great love of dance, music and creativity. She brings a positive, supportive and encouraging approach to teaching, creating an environment where students can build confidence, develop strong technique and foster a genuine love of dance. She is passionate about The Arts and how they all harmoniously merge and complement one another. Creative, personable and detail-oriented, Gabby strives to support each student’s individual growth while creating a warm, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
