Hey HooRai family π
You may have noticed I've been a little quiet lately.
Over the past few months I've been navigating something many of us experience but don't always talk about openly β burnout.
At the same time, I've also been learning more about myself and what it means to navigate life as a neurodivergent person in a world that is only just beginning to understand, embrace and adjust to the beauty of different ways of thinking, feeling and experiencing life.
It's been a journey of learning, unlearning and extending myself the same compassion and understanding that I so freely give to others.
We spend so much of our time looking after our families, our businesses, our clients and our communities that sometimes we forget to look after ourselves.
I've learned that you simply can't pour from an empty cup.
For someone who loves creating, connecting with people and bringing joy to celebrations, taking a step back wasn't easy. But it was necessary. I needed to give myself permission to rest, recharge, focus on my wellbeing, and rediscover the things that fill my own cup.
What I've come to realise is that self-care isn't selfish. Self-love isn't a luxury. Looking after yourself mentally, physically and emotionally is one of the most important investments you can make.
The beautiful thing about slowing down is that it gives you the chance to come back stronger, clearer and more aligned with who you truly are.
So while HooRai may have been a little quieter online, behind the scenes I've been healing, growing, learning to work with my brain rather than against it, and reconnecting with my creativity.
And now, I'm feeling ready again. Ready to create. Ready to celebrate life's special moments with you. Ready to bring fresh ideas and beautiful designs to life, while continuing to honour the balance, boundaries and self-awareness I've worked so hard to build.
Thank you for your continued support, patience and kindness. It means more than you know.
Here's to filling our cups, embracing our differences, showing ourselves grace, and creating a world where understanding and compassion make space for everyone to shine. π
With love,
Rai
