KIN – Dudi and Jojo screened to a full house at Cinema Nova as part of Melbourne Documentary Film Festival.

It was wonderful to connect with the other filmmakers and to see audiences connect with the film.

"For Indigenous people, it's about storytelling through our ancestors, through song. How do we connect through our language? How do we understand our identity and keep it alive here?" - Ruci Kaisila, speaking at the Q&A.

ARTVINE: Outer Urban Projects' VIGIL is performing at Arts House 22 April - 3 May

VIGIL is a polyvocal performance work made by visionary communities and creatives with something to ask of Australia: What lives matter? Do our lives matter?
Bringing together a compelling creative team of writers, performers, dance artists, and community members, VIGIL examines the intersections of public and private safety, race, gender, and terror in the streets of our city.

This multi-cultural, multi-artist production includes a story by Yorta Yorta playwright Bryan Andy, acted out by ILBIJERRI alums Sermsah Bin Saad, Carly Sheppard, and Kamarra Bell-Wykes.
