Hello everyone, it's been a long time since you heard from us and we wanted to get in touch regarding the ball this year. We regret to inform you all that after much deliberation, the Koonoomoo Pickers and Packers Charity Ball has been cancelled indefinitely.

Due to the rising costs to run an event like this and the hoops we would have to jump through to have a BNS would take the soul out of the ball and so have decided that it cannot run in the present environment.

We would like to thank all of our sponsors and patrons over the last decade for your ongoing support of us and the ball, the impact you have made on our community is immeasurable and has made running this ball such a special experience.

That being said, keep your eyes peeled as we are working behind the scenes for our next big event and cannot wait for when we can see you all again! Have a happy new year and bring on 2025!

KPP 2024 Postponed!

To our beloved Patrons and dedicated BNS Community that have continued to support the Koonoomoo Pickers & Packers Charity Ball over the years, we regretfully inform you that KPP 2024 will be postponed.

This decision has not been made lightly. Multiple factors have been taken into account and the members of the KPP Committee have agreed it is time to take a break so that we can re-evaluate how to make the best Ball possible for everyone involved moving forward.

As most are aware all BNS Balls across Australia are becoming increasingly difficult to run with rising operating costs and tighter regulations being put in place. A lot of organizations running them, including ourselves, are made up of volunteers who donate their time to make these events successful.

We do not want to see the BNS Balls fade away so we encourage you all to keep supporting balls across Australia by not only purchasing tickets and merchandise, but also respecting the grounds, facilities, and volunteers and locals who make these events possible. Most importantly, look out for the safety of yourselves and other patrons, calling out/putting a stop to any antisocial or dangerous behavior.

If we do this, the future of our balls will continue to be bright!

Again, we thank you for your support and we want you to know this is definitely not farewell! Sit tight, stay safe and we will see you again soon!

We have been overwhelmed with messages of support and thanks for a great weekend, and we thank everyone for the continued support.

Unfortunately there is some nasty rumours floating around and we can assure you that these are only rumours. We had 4 patrons taken off site for treatment relating to broken bones and burns. All other patrons were treated on site by our amazing medical team.

We are working with all other balls to identify and stamp out some of the trouble behaviour at our balls to ensure the safety of all attendees.
