Cobden Miniature Railway Park

Cobden Miniature Railway Park Miniature Railway, playground, BBQ and picnic facilities, disabled parking and toilets. Cobden Miniature Railway Park opened in June 1994.

The railway is open on the 3rd Sunday of each month and every Sunday during school holidays except between Christmas and New Year. The railway is run by the South Western Model Engineers Inc. The park provides miniature train rides, children's playground, picnic and barbecue facilities. Total track length is approximately 1.3km and includes an under and over pass, trestle bridge, two tunnels a lake and the Old Cobden railway station.

Trains are running again this Sunday 16th August from 11am to 4pm. Canteen open selling hot and cold food and drinks. While you are here check out our new station floor. Now more accessible for anyone who visits us.

Did you know Cobden has its own miniature railway park? 🚂⛳

The Cobden Miniature Railway Park has been a favourite local destination since it opened in June 1994.

The park has plenty to keep the whole family busy:
- Miniature train rides along approximately 1.8km of track, complete with tunnels, a trestle bridge, and two stations
- 18-hole mini golf
- Canteen, children's playground and barbecue facilities

When can you visit?
The park is open to the public on the third Sunday of every month, and every Sunday during school holidays (excluding long weekend Sundays unless they fall within school holidays).
Opening hours are 11am – 4pm.

The whole space is kept as affordable as possible, with Train Rides $3 per person (children over 2 years), and Mini Golf available for $6 for adults, and $3 for kids.

These are both fantastic community assets, and we thank the Rotary Club of Cobden and South Western Model Engineers for making these activities available to our community.
