Among all the great things that Ken and Juliet Eckersley have done - we’ll be there to celebrate their support of (f)route and FROUTEVILLE - we wouldn’t still be here at FLOAT without their belief in us! And the way they let us take over the winery every Feb - to celebrate local apples, peaches, grapes, art and far east folk!
See you there this East Gippsland Winter Festival

Wine lovers! Join us on Saturday 28th June at 1pm for the first and exclusive tasting of about 20 early East Gippsland wines, mainly from the 1980’s and 90’s at Nicholson River Winery.

Some are in Magnums, and include Chardonnays, Pinot Noirs, Cabernet-Merlot, Riesling and Semillon. Cheese and biscuits provided. Capped at 20 people.

Take a journey into the evolution of styles and varieties in a frontier wine area of Victoria, with an accompanying explanation by winemaker and owner, Ken Eckersley.

A relaxing and informative afternoon for anyone interested in Wine and Gippsland Wine in particular. It is being held in the Barrel Room of Nicholson River Winery.

$120pp. Bookings essential.

(F)ROUTE is REALLY chuffed to be a part of this East Gippsland Winter Festival - being shooszhed into shape by the most amazing team. The generosity, motivation and creativity we see being shared every day is really, truly uplifting.

YAY! We are so happy to announce that on top of having a ball at frouteville we were able to donate $2000 to the Gippsland Emergency Relief Fund (GERF). Thanks to EVERYONE who supported the event with all their hard work, artistic talent and good spirits, it was an event to remember! (photo credit Lauren Manley)
