Thank you to the amazing people who came along and supported last night's Rhythm Redlands - given the forecasted storms, it was understandable that many people cancelled, but we still had a good number.

Stay tuned for 'Rhythm of Life' - on the first Saturday of each month at Allambee, beginning Saturday 7th February 2026.

Special thanks to the drumming sensations 'Drumble' and Evan Kidd for their epic performance - they absolutely nailed it, and it's unanimous: WE WANT MORE!! There were some fun drum games to start off the night 🪘... and Atlas from Mucis productions did a fantastic DJ set with electronic synths and instruments. Thank you to Jesse for your didge playing and assisting on the night! Last, but not least, none of this is possible without the tireless dedication of Johanna Gibb Allambee Sanctuary! Thank you

Last night's Rhythm Redlands was a sensational hit! The event has now booked out. We have so many people coming we now don't have enough chairs! Please BRING A CHAIR if you have one, to guarantee a seat. That would be really appreciated and a weight off my mind :))

We'd love to see you there, but if you need to cancel please go through the self-cancellation system ASAP (so we know who's coming). Refunds and cancellations end 3 days before the event.

Please park on the street with courtesy to the neighbours. If you are fit and able, we are appreciative if you can park a little bit further up the street to allow for those with less mobility to have greater access. If you need disability access, please send me a DM to let me know ASAP and we can arrange a spot on the property.

Regarding future events, assuming there will be enough interest, keep your eye out for a drumming and mindfulness event called 'Rhythm of Life', which will be held on the 1st Saturday of each month (starting Feb 2026) at Allambee Sanctuary. Spend an intimate evening immersed in good vibes and community 🌈🧘🏻‍♂️🤩🙌🏼. This celebration will feature a drum workshop, drum performance and community dance (if you want to join in). We invite you to join us in a celebration of 🌼 Spring 2025.

7.00-7.15pm Arrival & Welcoming to Allambee Sanctuary
7.15-8.00pm: 🥁 Drum workshop & drum games
8.00pm- nibbles, snacks, chips etc - time to meet each other
8.15pm - 8.45pm: The drumming group 'Drumble' performs!
8.45pm - 9.00pm: Drum Jam & dance
9.pm: Closing meditation - connection & gratitude 🧘

DRUMBLE is a dynamic Brisbane based percussion group that brings vibrant rhythms and infectious energy. Their drumming brings people together, creating a joyful atmosphere that's sure to get you moving and dancing!

STOP PRESS... This event is now FREE!! Our last two paid events sold out. In the spirit of community, we would like to get even MORE people along to this wonderful event. The facilitators will not be paid for their time, however, the Allambee Sanctuary has running costs so contributions directly to the venue are really appreciated.

B.Y.O. drum = free (plus donation to Sanctuary)
Hire a drum (essential to book online) = $5 per person per drum (plus donation). This fee goes directly to the person leasing the drums.
