The dust has officially settled after our last Chinchilla rodeo of the year â the WDC Jack Holt Memorial Super All Round Rodeo.
What an absolute success of a day! Great competitor numbers, a massive crowd through the gates, and one hell of an atmosphere from start to finish.
We kicked off at 10:00am and wrapped things up by 8:30pm to get our spectators and families home at a reasonable time after a huge day of rodeo action and Side Show Alley fun.
A massive thank you to our stock contractors for putting on another awesome event. The stock bucked hard, the competitors showed up, and there were some incredible scores put on the board throughout the day.
To our volunteers and the A&P Show Society â thank you for stepping in wherever needed and being on your feet all day long. Events like this simply do not happen without people willing to put in the hard yards behind the scenes.
And to our officials⊠wow. What an absolute A-Team we have created for years to come. You all did an incredible job helping run such a smooth, professional and well-organised show. From our little committee, thank you.
To every competitor who entered â thank you. Each and every one of you played a massive role in making Saturdayâs rodeo what it was.
And to the spectators⊠what a crowd. As many people said throughout the day, it felt like one of the biggest crowds Chinchilla has seen in years and weâll leave it at that.
Finally, to our sponsors â none of this would be possible without your support. Thank you for backing our committee, our vision, and our rodeo community.
Sophie Weeden and Corey Spencer signing off⊠but not for long.
The action will return to Chinchilla in 2027 for Bulls, Broncs & Barrels in February đ
