Chinchilla Potters and Painters Chinchilla Potters and Painters meet every Friday at the Chinchilla Creative Centre, 9 Mutch Street from 9am - 12 noon.

Pottery us on every 2nd and 4th Saturdays from 9am until 3pm and alternate Friday's from 9am until 3pm. The Potters and Painters meet every Friday at the Chinchilla Creative Centre, 9 Mutch Street from 9am - 12 noon. On the second and fourth Saturday of each month we do pottery from 9am until 4pm in the enclosed outdoor space.

Today we say good bye to founding member Joan Hubbard, on the right. In 1982 the Potters met at each other's homes and the group secured the Junior Farmers hall and welcomed painters. So the Chinchilla Potters and Painters Inc was formed. Joan was instrumental in establishing the Chinchilla White Gums Gallery, which is now named Lapunyah. An amazing lady of great talent and passion. The service for Joan is at 11am today at Keatings Chapel in Oak Street Chinchilla. The photos below were taken at the opening of the new extension at the Creative Centre in 2021.
