Sunday the 12th @ 7pm in the US & 10am here in Aus, AEST we had Caitlin Greenglass share a very confronting (I say confronting because that’s exactly what is was) story of her experiences growing up, trying to make sense of & journeying through repeated sexual abuse & assault from more than one perpetrator throughout most of her earlier life. Caitlin had an extreme courage & power about her I could feel in her presence, something much more deeply soulful on & in purpose to shine a light on the ones suffering in this type of black darkness.

Delving into disassociation, other post trauma responses & living with acute anxiety, PTSD & other mental health reactions to her abuse we spoke of the signs to look out for with your children, ways to start the process of speaking out, effects of speaking out, areas where advancements need to be made & are slowly being made.

Caitlin, thank you for your immense courage & feeling comfortable enough to share your story here with me.

To anyone going through a tough time, know you are not alone & there is hope. As Caitlin said, it doesn’t go away but it does get easier to live some sort of normal. 🙏

VIEWER DISCRETION IS HIGHLY ADVISED IN THIS RECORDING. IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW IS BEING ABUSED OR SUFFERING FROM ABUSE PLEASE CONTACT YOUR LOCAL AUTHORITIES OR SEEK HELP FROM SOMEONE YOU TRUST OR A LOCAL SUPPORT

Yesterday we were live with Mizzey Dee Wise, such an insightful conversation. I did have some broadcasting echo issues which we had identified & I wasn’t quite sure what was causing it after some slight tweaking, & although we pressed on, once the live was finished I listened to part of the replay which realistically made me realise how bad the broadcast was, including some honest feedback.

With some investigation, my computer & speakers had a noise loop causing it. I’m currently working on trying to edit the version to remove as much of it as I can, alternatively, I am looking into a second option.
For anyone whom was wanting to support Mizzey in her story & for the ones looking forward to this broadcast, I do apologise for any inconvenience.

Updates will be provided asap.

Yesterday we spoke to Mateo Coletti, a gifted, talented musician born to Oprah singers. Mateo shared a story that not only delved into the ups & downs of life which many of us face, but also the tumultuous effects of breaking his neck after a fun night on a trampoline, undergoing surgery, manoeuvring a life from 15 where one could say his teenage years had been stolen as the once prestigious popular school athlete with advantageous offers dropping at his feet, faced the challenges of life changing effects as Mateo learnt the wisdom of difference through life of injury in the prime of his youth, a medically affixed cast on 24/7 & a once talented fitness he could no longer use.
I was both impressed & intrigued as Mateo seemed affected by the physical ailment & yet, his expression was one of not falling victim to his life changing effect, maintaining resilience & hope.
However, although Mateo admitted he never really knew depression at that stage of his life, slowly, the torment which struck around him, slowly started to surface as he shared the vulnerable story of having his life turned upside down as his children were taken away suddenly, later marrying his second wife, tormented by mental chaos (as you guys know medically we say mental health, however, I find mental chaos to be more open) a woman whom fell victim to su***de, their shared child finding her mum & Mateo’s then 2nd ex wife. Speaking of the torment his daughter still faces everyday, the need for support from family & the challenges which have only brought himself & his now wife Heidi, his daughters ‘bonus mum’ (I think his words were) closer. However, alas Mateos challenges have continued with yet another accident injuring his back further & whilst Mateo waits for surgery, I found his unique attitude to his circumstance one of both amicable admiration & a humility that was refreshing in both his expression & vulnerability & his zest for still loving & pulling his family together.

Unfortunately, our recording stopped & unaware, we continued to talk (my fault), Mateos parting words to anyone whom has been through similar or whom is facing hard times was to pause, count blessings, take time for yourself & to ensure your cup is full or at least take the time to purposefully fill it so you can tend to another.

We plan to have Mateo back later in 2025 once he is post surgery.

This, like every transformational story I am so so fortunate to both hear & witness, each one carrying a different principal, life circumstance & each one its own type of vulnerability teaches me continually, there is always hope so long as we refuse to lose it.
