A few weeks back I got employed to record an acoustic part for a pop/hip hop song. It was initially all synths, samples and (drum)machines with very nice vocal lines, but Rory wanted an acoustic version. His reply when I sent him my acoustic guitar work: "This sounds amazing!! I'm really happy with how this has come out and it's been a real pleasure working with you. I'll put together a full version in the next couple of weeks and send it your way so you can hear the final thing" Yesterday this was released on all digital streaming media. Beautiful work Rory!!

And released Aphrodite worldwide on all digital platforms! Very proud of this one for two obvious reasons: 1, Mindtrip is my brother Dirk. 2. We both worked hard to make it sound fantastic as it does sound fantastic. This is just the start, more is coming and the future looks bright for Mindtrip from where I am sitting. I'm pretty invested in this project, as I honestly never thought we, brothers, would musically work together. Neither of us ever thought of that, we're too different but that is now the very thing that makes it so special! Go have a listen for yourself:

Last-minute Easter production with Elisabeth Darnell. Woke up Friday to a message saying: "Morning! Would you have a minute to chat? I wrote a song today for Easter, wondering if you'd find the time for a quick drum track and maybe some guitar... Not sure what it needs but maybe we can talk about it" by the end of the day we had a demo ready, added some animation for visuals and... Happy Easter!
