Only four weeks to go until achievement day and the Winters End Cabaret!!

Please start talking to your teachers about your participation for the day and if you are feeling the need for some extra preparation, now is a great time to start booking in private lessons. Don't forget you can share a lesson with another class mate to n split the cost.

Also please start getting in your table reservation forms for the evening! If you have non- studio guests coming please feel free to share this link so they can book tickets.

This Sunday we are having our 3rd Captiv8 Cup.

Due to an amazing number of entries we are now starting at 10am! With doors opening at 9am to provide participants with plenty of practice and warm up time.

If you are not dancing, please come and join in the support and cheer crew! The more support, the more cheering the better!

There will be a designated half hour lunch break so please bring some food.

What an incredible night! Thank you to everyone who joined us for West Coast Swing Mega Friday at Motiv8 Dance last night. We absolutely loved seeing our regulars back on the floor AND getting to meet some beautiful new faces.

We’re truly humbled by the beautiful mix of experience levels in the room, from first‑time dancers to seasoned West Coasters, all sharing the joy of dance together. The way you support each other, create such a wholesome vibe, and make everyone feel comfortable is exactly what makes this community so special.

If you missed this one, don’t worry… we hope to see you at the next Mega Friday which is set to be Friday 20th February. The remaining dates for the year have been confirmed and posted in the picture below.

🎉 Mega Fridays are now just $25 per person - and that includes both classes AND the social!
We can’t wait to make these nights even more accessible, fun, and community‑driven.

Until then, our weekly Beginners classes are running every Friday 7-8:30pm and are $20pp

✨ Motiv8 Dance is excited for West Coast Swing in 2026! ✨

We were thrilled to become part of the West Coast Swing community in 2025, and it has been incredible watching West Coast Swing grow across Melbourne.
Now, we’re even more excited to bring back Mega Fridays in 2026!

Join us this Friday, 23rd January, as we launch a brand‑new West Coast Swing program led by the knowledgeable Brady Stanton.

Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced dancer, Mega Fridays have something for everyone.

7:00pm – Beginners
8:00pm – Continuers (designed for all levels & experience)
9:00pm–late – Social dancing
