Mother's Day will never quite be the same without this wonderful lady...but this year, instead of allowing the sadness to dominate, I'm making the decision to smile at all the ways her love impacted my life.

I'm smiling at the infinite love she had for her family and friends, the zest she had for life and the bravery she showed, right up until her last moment - my Mum really showed us how we should all live our lives - one of the most inspiring souls to have ever walked this earth. Thankyou for being you ❤️

Today I feel the need to give a gentle reminder that mothers come in all sorts of different forms - each and every one deserves to be celebrated and honoured today for the impact they have in this world.

If you are still lucky enough to be able to, give your Mum an extra big hug today xx
