This Thursday Jul 23charlotte is dedicating the session to long poses.
An extended n**e figure drawing session for deeper study, structure, and expressive detail.
The session will begin with four 5-minute warm-up poses, gradually transitioning into an extended continuous long pose lasting up to 1.5 hours, designed for immersive observational drawing.
This format gives you time to focus on composition and go deeper into details.
Perfect for beginners who want to understand structure, as well as advanced artists ready to push rendering and anatomical study further.

Coming This July: A 4-Week Charcoal Masterclass with

Build a strong foundation in academic figure and portrait drawing through a structured four-week masterclass. Working from a live model each Sunday, you’ll learn the essential principles of observational drawing—from proportion and gesture to anatomy, light, shadow, and rendering.

Each session begins with a live demonstration by Christopher Pariano, followed by guided studio practice and personalized feedback tailored to your experience level. Whether you’re just starting or looking to strengthen your fundamentals, this course is designed to help you develop confidence through direct observation and classical drawing methods.

By the end of the masterclass, you’ll have a solid process for constructing accurate figure and portrait drawings, understanding light and shadow, improving gesture and likeness, and creating convincing form through value and rendering.

Professional art education is often difficult to access. This masterclass is designed to make high-quality academic instruction affordable while providing extensive one-on-one guidance throughout the course.

About the Instructor
Christopher Pariano is a fine artist, painter, and concept artist in the games industry. After earning his BFA in Painting from SCAD, he continued his classical training at Watts Atelier of the Arts, studying the Reilly Method.
His experience spans fine art, concept art, illustration, animation, and game development. Christopher has taught at Michaels, Cheap Joe’s Art Stuff, Hands Create Studio, Warrior Art Camp, and currently instructs at Artroom Charlotte. He is also an ARC 14th International Salon Finalist, recognized for excellence in representational art.
