"Newcastle theatre has always been a source of great joy in my life. My partner Robyn Greenwell has designed over fifty shows for Newcastle companies, so we have spent a lot of our time together in theatre buildings around the region. My fondest memories are of musical productions. My top moments include singing Anthony in SWEENEY TODD (as a much younger man) in 1989, seeing my adaptation of Robert Gott's GOOD MURDER on stage in 2016, singing the Major General in the 2019 THE PIRATES OF PENZANE for Opera Hunter, and directing last year's LA BOHEME."
