קהילה יקרה שלנו,
אחרי שני אירועים בשבוע האחרון: “שרים לזכרם” ליום הזיכרון ו“שרים אריק איינשטיין” ליום העצמאות, הגיע הזמן לעצור לרגע ולהגיד תודה לכל אלה שבלעדיהם לא היינו מצליחים להרים את האירועים האלה בפרק הזמן שהיה לנו:
קודם כל למשה לוי - על ההשראה ועל הניהול המוזיקלי. איזו זכות הייתה לנו לעבוד איתך. זכינו בענק.
למוזיקאים המוכשרים שלנו:
סיימון סטאר שלקח את השרביט והוביל מוזיקלית את שני הערבים,
ולאדם סטאר, אוהד ריין, נוי בן עמי, שירה כספי, איילה קדם, יעל זמיר, ניסים בן סולומון, יובל אשכר, זיו אריאל, קרן פלדמן, טל ברוכשטיין וברט
שריגשתם אותנו עד דמעות ביום הזיכרון, והעפתם אותנו לשמיים ביום העצמאות.
לצוות ההפקה שלנו:

חנה שובלי על עריכת הסרטים,
שוקי ראובני על הצילומים,
דני עולש על הסאונד,

והתודה הגדולה ביותר מגיעה לכם - הקהל שלנו. הקהילה הכי תומכת בעולם!!!
לכל מי שהגיע, וקנה כרטיסים והצביע ברגליים.
בלי החיבוק הזה - לא היינו יכולים להמשיך ולבנות את החלום שלנו.
כל כרטיס שנקנה מקרב אותנו עוד צעד לשדרוג המתנ״ס הקהילתי שלנו,
וליצירה של תרבות ישראלית אותנטית וברמה הכי גבוהה שיש כאן באוסטרליה.
שני האירועים האלה חותמים ארבעה חודשים של עבודה אינטנסיבית, מאות שעות של עשייה מכל הלב.
אנחנו לוקחים רגע לנשום, ללמוד, לדייק, להביט קדימה ולבנות לנו עתיד.
מה שלמדנו בשבועות האחרונים הוא שיש כאן קהילה מלאה בכישרונות, ביכולות ובאנשים מדהימים,
וביחד אנחנו יכולים להרים הרים.
אבל כדי לבנות את ההרים האלה - אנחנו צריכים צבא שלם… צבא של אהבה. 🤍
אנחנו מחפשים מתנדבים שיצטרפו אלינו לחשיבה ולעשייה במגוון של תחומים.
אם יש לכם קצת זמן פנוי, ידע, ניסיון, או פשוט רצון להיות חלק. נשמח לשמוע מכם.

After two events this past week: “Singing in Their Memory” for Yom Hazikaron and “Singing Arik Einstein” for Yom Ha’atzmaut - it’s time to pause for a moment and say thank you to all those without whom we couldn’t have made these events happen in such a short time:
First and foremost, to Moshe Levi - for the inspiration and musical direction.
What a privilege it was to work with you. We truly feel lucky!.
To our incredibly talented musicians:
Simon Starr, who took the lead and musically directed both evenings,
and Adam Starr, Ohad Rein, Noy Ben-Ami, Shira Kaspi, Ayelet Kedem, Yael Zamir, Nissim Ben Salamon, Yuval Ashkar, Ziv Ariel, Karen Feldman, Tal Bruchshtein and Brett:

Without this embrace - we simply couldn’t continue building our dream.
Every ticket purchased brings us one step closer to upgrading our community culture hub,
creating a space for authentic Israeli cultural experiences of the highest level here in Australia.
These two events mark the end of four intense months of work - hundreds of hours, all from the heart.
We’re taking a moment to breathe, reflect, refine and look ahead as we continue building our future.
What we’ve learned in recent weeks is that we have a community full of talent, ability, and incredible people
and together, we can move mountains.
But to build those mountains - we need an entire army…
an army of love. 🤍
We are looking for volunteers to join us in thinking, creating, and building across a range of areas.
