Some names are just the prettiest! A perfect colour combination for a Mother’s Day lunch this weekend (Ultra Violet is Pantone’s Color of the Year 2018 and it’s one of my favourites too). I’m using Dr Martin’s Bleedproof White ink with a Brause 66EF nib on these gorgeous violet coloured metallic envelopes. Love your mum! (every day of the year) 💜

In most cases ink won’t last a lifetime but in this case, it most definitely will! I feel very humbled to see my lettering on a real life canvas, especially one as gorgeous as . A very special first for me. Love. Always. Aroha.

A friend has asked if I could address some envelopes for her using a classic script and some flourishing. Flourishing is something I don't have a great deal of experience in, and I'm aware that it can all go terribly wrong, but I reckon now's the time to jump in and learn a new skill!

These wedding vows included the poem "Vow" by Roger McGough:
