From men’s cooking to arts programs and youth engagement to Pride Picnics —CCH helps to build and sustain our amazing community. Castlemainians love to dance and they absolutely adore dressing up! Since 1994, when the first Spring Ball was held, a wild array of Spring Ball themes has provided ample opportunity for both: Rock n Roll, Funk, Punk, Reggae, Celtic, Big Band, Klezmer, Bollywood, the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, A Dark Night in Wonderland, Shipwrecked, Paint the Town Red and more!

We are oh so close to a sell-out and SO excited to see all you gloriously dark and fancy humans in your dark and fancy costumes!

The final touches are being put on what is shaping up to be an outrageously good night. Keep an eye on socials next week for a closer look at what's in store.

We still need a handful of volunteers for on-the-night, pack up and pack down shifts. It's the best way to be part of the magic without having to pay for it 🙏

These two didn't get their Spring Ball tickets in time. Don't make the same mistake 🖤

When you buy a Spring Ball ticket you are directly supporting Castlemaine Community House’s vital community programs—including Community Lunches, free social groups and arts programs, youth programs and food relief for those experiencing hardship—ensuring everyone in our community can thrive and participate fully in community life.

It wouldn't be Spring Ball without supper!

You spoke, we listened. Supper kicks off at 8pm, because we can’t have you haunting the dance floor on an empty stomach.

Homemade treats - vegan and GF included - pizza courtesy of the legends at Dominos and yes, there will be mini meringues. Runs all night, or until the food runs out / kitchen goblins collapse 🖤

Castlemaine Town Hall draped in gothic splendour. A room packed with the most spectacularly dressed humans. The Castlemaine Idyll Band belting out the bangers. DJ Kyan and the unmistakable DJ Special Raconteur on the decks. Guaranteed to raise a smile from even the most solemn goth.
