The former Masonic Temple in Castlemaine, with soaring decorative ceiling, presents a unique setting for life drawing. Drink N Draw is an untutored life drawing gathering open to anyone wanting to extend their drawing practice or try something new. An evening typically includes short warm up drawing exercises
followed by longer poses. Boards, easels and refreshments are provided - BYO paper and dr

1. Drink N Draw Castlemaine does not promote irresponsible consumption of alcohol. In fact, in 2012
the group consumed 50% less alcohol in December than when classes began in May. Our average consumption was half a glass of wine per person.
2. In 2012, Drink N Draw Castlemaine employed nine different life models, all residents of the Mount Alexander Shire.
3. The oldest regular participant at Drink N Draw Castlemaine was eighty years old. The youngest participant was fifteen.
4. Drink N Draw Castlemaine attracts participants from as far afield as Taradale and Harcourt.
5. Drink N Draw Castlemaine showed over 150 drawings at its end of year exhibition in November 2012.
