Tomorrow night at 7pm! The very clever Aimee Chapman presents the culmination of her Coming Home sound project with a concert featuring piano, cello and electronics to premier a new musical work that celebrates the sounds of the commute from the city to our home in the goldfields. Featuring Josh Cohen, Emily Williams and Anthony Lyons and an array of sounds contributed by our community, it’s the first Phee At Home residency showing for the year and there’s a few tickets still up for grabs. We. Can’t. Wait.

Did you know Council elections will be held by post in October?
The election period starts at 12noon on Tuesday 22 September and runs through to 6.00pm on election day, Saturday 24 October.

During this time we will operate under our election period policy to ensure the election is conducted in a fair, ethical and equitable way.

That means council communication and consultations, along with posts and comments to this page will be limited. We are still able to answer queries via direct message, or through our usual customer service channels. You can email us at [email protected], call (03) 5471 1700 or make an online service request via our website.

Thanks for your patience during this time. Don’t forget to get your ballot papers back on time. Voting closes at 6.00pm on Friday 23 October. For more information about the elections visit www.vec.vic.gov.au.

Cool your thoughts with this fantastic short video by Leonie Van Eyk documenting the recent AT HOME project, The Language My Mother Speaks. Produced by Samantha Bews in collaboration with Denise Martin and Tim Preston, this project is a great demonstration of how our local creatives are re-imagining the Phee through the AT HOME residency program (keep an eye out for the tiered seating as cemetery!). Congratulations to all involved in this incredible work - more projects coming in early 2020!.
