New Yorker Allegra Krieger’s music is a masterclass in the understated. In a world of devices and deadlines, her songs are a perfectly disarming antidote, full of softness and nostalgia. Just try to find your way through the track ‘Lingering’ without slipping into your own self-reflective sinkhole. It's a blissful place indeed. With four studio albums to her name there is an abundance of lovingly picked guitars and stream-of-consciousness lyrics to get lost in, and we often do. This will be Allegra Krieger's first visit to our shores and a mid-afternoon set at Town Folk is truly what the doctor ordered.

Appearances by Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever are rare these days so we’re mighty glad they agreed to head up M79 for the occasion. We are long-time fans of their cinematic jangly rock which somehow ties Australia’s sprawling landscapes together with its urban romances. The result is a lively experience full of passion and swagger. It’s bloody good stuff and the streetscape of Castlemaine will be possibly the perfect setting for it. RBCF recently released their first single since 2022, and their comeback shows both sold out in under 5 minutes. Absolute sunsetting scenes await us.

This year we'll be pitching tents among the beautiful gums at Wattle Flat Reserve, a very convenient 2-minute shuttle bus ride from the festival site.
