Seems I unknowingly had a color theme in mind when I ordered these new yarns!
Just in this week is the Mirasol RIT'I, which is a Lofty Baby Alpaca Tweed with Gentle Rustic Charm. It is an Alpaca, Wool, Cotton, Polyester blend 10ply yarn. I have my eye on it for a fluffy vest.
The hanked Araucania ESPIRAL is a Bulky/12ply Hand Painted Extrafine Merino 100% wool. Again, it would make a beautiful garment or hat, gloves, scarf.

A fun backing fabric with some colorful cool cats and a brown backing fabric are recently new. These are additions to the mix of backing fabrics available.

Lynette has completed a gorgeous little test knit for Knitting With Calm. This is the Wild Trellis Romper, knit by Lynette in Patagonia Organic Merino.
Perfectly timed as a couple of new colors have arrived!
Beautiful Sport/5ply! Now just to decide which color for a Study Session Sweater.

People often ask where I purchase yarn and the answer is wherever I see yarn that I like but in reality my favourite places to buy wool is from small, family owned businesses in country towns.
Cast 'er On in Casterton is one of the shops I love to visit for their wide collection of yarns and fabrics and very special customer service.
Here is some of the yarn purchased there fairly recently and a couple of the beanies knitted from this yarn for the Made by Liz Sheepvention stall.

How fabulous do Ryan's fairisle scarves look hanging in the shop. The color combo in his latest WIP is amazing (photo 2).
Ryan has used a combination of Rowan Felted Tweed and Jody Long Alba. They give a stunning finish in fairisle. These scarves are knit in the round.

Anna Maria never disappoints!
Recent additions to the range are the Allegory pack made up of 18 FQ & 3 24" x WOF and the Happy Place Solids, which is a 12 FQ Bundle. The 3 new fabrics are from the Heiress range.
