Ablaze Playgroup

The children had an amazing time at playgroup today! It was wonderful to watch their imaginative play and see their creativity shine. During book time, I was especially impressed by how much they knew about construction trucks — they certainly knew their stuff! 🚜
Next week is our final week of the term, and we can't believe how quickly the time has flown. We hope to see everyone there for our last week of term 2 🙏

Before winter really kicks in, we celebrated the beautiful colours of autumn by creating some amazing artwork with autumn leaves. The children had a wonderful time exploring nature and getting creative!
We also celebrated two special birthdays today. Happy Birthday to little Genna — you're "TWO" cute! 🎉
And Happy Birthday to Anne! 🎂 Thank you for all the wonderful things you do.

On a chilly, rainy day, there's no better place to be than indoors.
The kids got messy with glue and crafted amazing dump trucks using crushed paper. During group time, they took the reins and led us through a lively performance of 'The Wheels on the Bus.' It's always a treat to spend time with our Ablaze playgroup family. See you all next week!

Another lovely day at playgroup!
At the craft table the children had fun creating a wavy sea by ripping paper for our boat craft, and the sails had a beautiful message: "Even the wind and the waves obey him!" 🌊 A wonderful reminder that Jesus is always in control, even when we face tough times.

Buckle up, kids! 🚗✈️ We're about to take off on an amazing journey with our vehicle and transport theme this term! 🚂 Through fun songs, creative crafts, and imaginative play, we'll explore the fascinating world of vehicles.
Plus, our traveling Jesus toy will visit each child's home in his hot, red car 🚗.

Today we had a lovely session that was full of warmth and creativity! The kids made some amazing crafts for their mothers, and we all enjoyed some delicious 'playdough' cookies.

To all the mothers, grandmothers, and women who do wonderful things for children, we're sending you love this Mother's Day!.

Welcome back to Term 2! It's been a great start to the term with our Anzac Day activities. The children's poppy artworks were amazing, and the Anzac biscuits were a tasty treat.
We talked about Anzac Day 🌺 during group time and why we remember 🙏.
