“Collaborate II”

In March of this year I had the opportunity to hold another brush making workshop with the younger students of Carnamah. The turnout was great, and everyone enjoyed the work they did.
The final work you see now is exclusive to this space and is fluid, meaning it can be presented in an endless amount of ways and never repeated.
Considering the most appropriate way to showcase the collaborative work, and not detract from my original intentions of the collaboration was difficult, as I wanted to keep all the materials used relative. As an artist, I aim for my work to be inclusive and interpreted as something that anyone can be a part of. This idea relates to how art can be used as a therapy, which is my ambition.

Thank you for everyone’s support!

Over a thousand people visited The Bank Gallery in Carnamah during September and checked out Bridget Baldock's exhibition Act-Belong-Commit Botanical. If you haven't yet had the chance, this free exhibition is open daily from 11am to 5pm until Wednesday 7th of October.

My work often starts as something 3D then gets transformed into a 2D piece.
I am pushing myself to take my process further by seeing what can be done digitally.

Stay tuned.....
