TARTS CAN TYPE…. is back, this time we explore power and who’s really doing the cooking, with: YES CHEF! Serving up our first course- meet our writers and facilitators for the event!!!

TARTS CAN TYPE… is a free new writing event bringing writers, actors and directors together to create in low stakes, high fun environment. We recently had an awesome development day with the creatives, and they are now hard at work writing their 10 minute pieces for the show day!

Hosted by TART Theatre Collective, TARTS CAN TYPE... is a free New Writing night by artists for artists.

Based on a prompt, writers create 10-minute scenes to be performed anonymously.. with a twist.

TARTS CAN TYPE is a cozy and comfortable bohemian saloon for experimentation and exploration. A playground! A testing space! A room where Writers can grow, try-out ideas. Where Writers, Actors and Directors can meet to create amongst one another in active conversation!

Tuesday October 17 is a Relaxed Performance!

Our Relaxed Performance has been adapted to ensure a softer and smoother sensory experience. It includes lower audio levels, dimmer lights, and the freedom for audience members to stand, come and go as they please, and/or engage in stimming activities throughout the performance.
