Future Loves Burning/Age Of Extremes is about a group of actors putting on a play. Actually, it’s about technology scrambling our senses. Actually it’s about Incels and Garden Gnomes.

In this premiere production, developed in-and-for the Motley Bauhaus in Carlton, cast and audience are thrown headlong into a multiverse of potentia.

From the Dictaphone of Nikita Khrushchev - the first Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, to a 2017 Melbourne Fringe production of Future Loves Burning now brought to the floor for re-examination, a troupe of actors (either narcissists or members of the intelligence community, or both) guide us mercilessly through the quantum while gnomes eat the moon.

Meet our brilliant designer Mattea Davies!

Mattea has had her work cut out for her on this show… taking over multiple spaces at the Motley Bauhaus, costumes of a troupe of actors off the street as well as intergalactic warriors and Gnomes. She also has to create the moon onstage… no trouble.

Mattea is doing an exceptional job of taking us into the multiverse!

This means…
Our Preview performance is now Tuesday May 12
Our Opening Night is now Wednesday May 13

Any ticket holders for those cancelled performances will be contacted with a refund or change of date option.
