Perform in a cross-cultural contemporary dance work

Are you a contemporary and/or cultural dancer based in Melbourne/Naarm with an interest in creating work across cultures?

Join 100BPM, a contemporary choreography project exploring culture, movement, and shared humanity, led by Mexican-Australian choreographer Elena Osalde.

Dancers from all backgrounds are welcome. Curiosity, openness, and commitment to the creative process are what matter most.
Workshops and rehearsals will take place May-October, culminating in a public performance.

Expressions of interest are now open.

Overview
"100 Beats per minute" unfolds as a jubilant ode to humanity's essence. Across diverse cultures, dancers are summoned to embark on a harmonious voyage, synchronising their heartbeats to the rhythm of original music set at 100 beats per minute.

Development sessions will be in October and November at Dancehouse in Carlton.

Diversity is welcome in terms of movement background, ages and skill levels.
