Now an award-winning and record-breaking Perth calendar fave, LiveLighter Canning Show runs the first weekend of November. A family-friendly community celebration like no other, last year had 16,000 smiles through the gates, a 98% happiness rate achieved, and 2/3 sessions sold out, now 2022 is set to elevate the joy even higher! We’ve removed traditional general waste bins from the Canning Show this year! But don't worry—there’s a great reason why.

We are going REUSABLE! 🍽️🥤

Thanks to the support of the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions’ Plastic Free Riverpark Program and our partners at , we’re levelling up the show experience to make it cleaner, greener, and better than ever.

Here’s what’s new for 2026:
🍽️ 100% Reusable Serveware: Enjoy your food truck treats served on sturdy, reusable plates, bowls, and cups!
🗑️ Waste Stations: Simply bring all your rubbish to our friendly, staffed Waste Stations—the Go2Cup team will take it and sort all the rubbish for you on-site! Separating out your food scraps, recyclables, containers for change and dishes!
💧 BYO Water Bottle: No single-use plastic water bottles will be sold. Fill up for free at our hydration trailer all day long! Forgot your bottle? No worries, an endless supply of clean reusable cups will be available.
🧸 Pre-Loved toy: Complete the Ag Trail and adopt a pre-loved toy, looking for a second chance at life thanks to our partnership with Good Sammy!
