We're very pleased to announce that beginner's classes are recommencing, and we're at a new venue as well!

Moondance Argentine Tango classes are designed for beginners with little, or no, Argentine Tango experience. You'll learn the fundamental steps and etiquette of tango. You'll improve your skills at connecting deeply and engaging in respectful partnerships. You'll get to know, and appreciate, the beauty of dancing together in harmony.

Classes are held at Holtze Close, Hackett ACT.

Enrolments are now open for classes commencing at 6.45pm on Wednesday 1 February 2023.

Costs (per person):
1 class $30
4 classes $100
8 classes $160

Get your tango on! There's no better way to celebrate the coming of Spring so take a bold step and find out how tango can help bring harmonious and joyful changes into your life.

Classes are held on Monday evenings at Overture Hall, Hickey Court, Weston ACT.

Enrolments are now open for Spring classes commencing on Monday 31 August 2020 and finishing on Monday 19 October 2020.

Please note: Due to current health regulations enrolments are only available to couples at present, and student numbers are strictly limited. Changing of dance-partners will not be taking place, and social-distancing (from other couples) will be observed.

LGBTQ couples are welcome.

As a precautionary measure, all classes currently scheduled for March and April have been postponed.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but feel it is the most responsible and appropriate course of action to take at this time.

Students who have already paid for classes will have their payments held in credit, or refunded if they wish.

Looking forward to seeing you on the dancefloor soon. In the meanwhile, we can all strengthen our souls by surrounding ourselves with peace. Take a deep breath and remember we are not meant to live our lives feeling anxious and alone. Show compassion for others, cultivate patience, and keep seeking the truth. Over the past several years, many people from the Canberra region have taken a courageous step and learned how to dance Argentine Tango.
Some have discovered a passion for it, others have developed friendships stemming from beautiful encounters on the dancefloor.
Now it's your turn! You're invited to take a bold step and find out how tango can help bring harmonious and joyful changes into your own life.

Sunday, 3 November 2019: Try a taster class to get a feel for tango. Come and join in at 2pm. It's free!

Monday, 4 November 2019: A new term of beginner's classes commences at 7pm.

Tuesday, 7January 2020: Beginner's classes for LGTBQI+ members of the community. Keep Tuesday and Wednesday evenings free at 7pm in January!
