Meet Amy - Owner of Mini Golf Federation Square
Hi, I’m Amy and I’m the Owner of Mini Golf Federation Square.
I’ve been fortunate to grow up around family businesses, so owning one of my own was always my goal. I took over the Mini Golf course in January 2025.
I have been so incredibly supported in this step of owning my first business by my friends and family. On my first day of business – New Year’s Day - my whole friendship group surprised me at work with flowers and a card with beautiful messages of best wishes and support. And as I’m still learning the ropes, my dad has got a lot of phone calls of “you know you love me right… can you come help me fix…” and he is here every time.
When I usually share my occupation, people’s responses typically range from initial confusion to genuine joy and curiosity, as I’m probably not the first person who comes to mind when you picture someone running a mini golf course.
My favourite part of owning this business is watching people of all ages play - seeing the smiles and laughter shared among loved ones truly makes my day, every single day.
I’m grateful to be part of a supportive community of local Businessmen & Women, many of them who have watched me grow up. It really is a one-of-a-kind area where both the shop owners and community support each other.
