The pensive Beauty of Absence
In this exhibition Beata tells the story of time, of memory, and of identity through the language of cemeteries. She reflects on the serenity and beauty of the place where the natural world gradually envelops and embraces human memory. Through her photography and photogravures she captures the contemplative atmosphere of cemeteries where time slows and becomes suspended in stone.

Q Gallery School Holiday Art Program - July Winter Holidays 2026 🎨❄️

We’re back to get creative these winter holidays at Q Gallery! Our hands-on art workshops are designed for kids to explore different mediums, experiment with materials, and express their imagination. Whether your child loves painting, clay, or crafting, there’s something for everyone in our fun-filled holiday program.

Week 1 Only
Monday, July 6th
• 10am - 12pm, Painting on Canvases: Paint and create on your very own Canvas! We’ll guide you through this lesson planning + sketching your ideas, with step by step guidance bringing your painting to life.

Wednesday, July 8th
• 10am - 12pm, Clay Creatures + Mini Habitats : Create your very own Creature out of Clay! We’ll be designing and crafting 3D cardboard habitats for our creatures to live in.
All materials provided. Suitable for primary school-aged children 6 - 12 yrs.
