Another Collab with .gathering &

I can't even begin to quantify the amount of time and energy that has been put into this Installation to get to this moment but I'm very proud that I finally made it. So many prototypes, weeks upon weeks, of thoughts of how to create the brackets? how to make a mounting system for the frames? power supplies? pixel controllers? cable types? how to make it weather proof? The list goes on forever, everything has been created and made exactly for this design. Was it a challenge? My god yes. Would I do it again? Hands Down.

For something that started off with an interest/hobby that's been hidden away for years and for those who have been lucky to see what I've been up to in my private events. It's crazy to think that I've finally got to a point where I can share what I create.

I'll have more additional videos and pictures in the coming weeks. Now it's a matter of reorganising The Hatchery inventory, cracking into some research on my new projects and back to building & constructing.

Most importantly there are a lot of people to thank that have supported me along the way, without them... this would have been a failure

What a way to expierence Dragon Dreaming for my first time, with the added bonus of being selected as an Install Artist. I'm very much exctied to display my creation at Dragon and very much hoping people enjoy what I've created.

Only a couple weeks out and still plenty of things to sort out but looking forward to an Epic Long weekend.

It's taken a couple days to recover but what a night it was at Beyond Classic. Some pictures and videos of the event are coming soon. I wouldn't miss the next one if I were you. It was definitely a whole lot of fun showing off the new LED pixel bar system.

However, there's no time to waste at The Hatchery. A whole lot of R&D has been going on behind the scenes.

So commences Phase 2.

The Tunnel - redefined.
This has been a passion project for the past couple years, with a couple of variations of strip, diffusion & mounting systems. I am now glad to step out from the prototype made from PVC into a more sturdy aluminium construction. Plenty more development to be done but this is something you'll want to see.
