This activity wall gives our littlest visitors a chance to stop, explore, and get stuck into something at their own pace. From turning gears and moving pieces to matching shapes and experimenting with cause and effect, there’s plenty to keep little hands and curious minds busy.

🤸 It looks like fun... because it is!

Our new Gross Motor Challenge Area (4 years and under) has been thoughtfully designed to encourage children to climb, crawl, balance, jump, roll and explore—all through play.

For children under five, movement isn’t just about burning energy. Every wobble, every jump and every obstacle they overcome is helping to develop the skills they’ll use for years to come. Gross motor play supports balance, coordination, body awareness, motor planning, confidence, problem-solving and even later school skills like handwriting and sitting comfortably for learning.

One of our favourite features? The equipment is light enough for children to move and reconfigure themselves. Rather than following a set course, they can design their own challenges, test their ideas, adapt their plans and discover what their bodies are capable of. That’s where creativity, resilience and confidence really begin to grow.

Next time you visit, spend some time in our Gross Motor Challenge Area for our 4 years and under, and watch the learning unfold through play. 💛

✨ New at Let’s Play – Baby Weigh Station! ⚖️💛

We’re excited to now have a baby weigh station available for families to use during your visit.

📍 You’ll find it in our baby change room, providing a convenient space to check your little one’s weight whenever you need.

A few friendly reminders:
🤍 Please use the scales respectfully so they remain available for everyone.
🤍 While the scales are a helpful guide, we cannot guarantee their accuracy, so please keep this in mind when monitoring your baby’s growth. If you have any concerns about your baby’s weight or development, we recommend speaking with your Child Health Nurse, GP, or other healthcare professional.

And before anyone asks... yes, that’s a real baby in the photo! 🤭 He belongs to one of our wonderful member families—we know he looks just like a doll!
