Good evening everyone, Alyson here your Brindy President. I know things have been a little slow on the uptake this year, but as I mentioned in earlier posts the committee has been drowning with significant and some devastating life changing events that have had multiple of us off line at any given time and for extended periods during the lead up.
I ask if you all could please continue to remain patient as we work hard to bring you yet another amazing Brindabella.
Whilst our comms have been less full on our labour of love in the background is still turning!
We have some spectacular sponsors this year, amazing prizes, beautiful judges, and a committee that pours their heart and souls into giving you a wonderful event.
So if nothing else, please remember this isn’t our business, or our job, we do this for your kids in our not so spare time for zero personal gain while making our own husbands cranky and being less available for our own children, whilst juggling our own paid work/jobs so at the very least when you do reach out in DM with requests you are contacting REAL people, REAL mums in our community so please be mindful, and well to be fair manners wouldn’t go a stray 😓
We are a happy supportive and loving community at Brindy and we love watching your stars shine on our stage. It’s a lot of work for everyone (us, parents, teachers and the dancers) involved for that solid 2.50 on stage and it should be celebrated.
Dance and competition is nothing to be stressed over, it should be enjoyed and celebrated because as each dance season closes you become one year closer to their final ever dance. And I promise you when you get there it will all feel like your whole journey only lasted 10 minutes.
That said our custom program is being put together as we speak so should hopefully be in your inboxes VERY soon! We are working on it I promise!!
