RD Consulting is providing support to the Australian Government to deliver communications during this COVID-19 pandemic. We are pleased to be able to work with them to bring some of their consulting and information sessions online during this challenging time of social distancing.
As RD Consulting continues to support the Australian Government in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are pleased to be able to draw upon the expertise and experience of communication specialists from the Canberra Raiders.
As the crisis has caused hardship for numerous businesses across the nation, a number of highly skilled workers have been searching for employment and we are pleased to welcome Ben Pollack, Presenting Cam Sullings and Jon Kroiter to our team.
RD Consulting CEO Colin Anstie said that the inclusion of members of The Green Machine will help the company as they assist another Green Machine, the Australian Army.
“When the right people are available at the right time, it’s an opportunity that RD Consulting are eager to jump on,” Mr Anstie said. “To have the capacity for the Raiders media team join us while the NRL season is postponed helps us with our projects that evolve around helping the Australian Government and Army in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis.
“To have a team of people that work well together, have industry experience and have jumped into their roles immediately is a massive advantage for our company.”
Ben joins RD Consulting as Head of Communications. He has a vast amount of knowledge from his 14 years as the Media Manager for the Canberra Raiders.
During this time, he acted as the key point of contact between the NRL - National Rugby League team and all media outlets.
He also managed the Raiders social media channels and website, while delving into the data and analytics to measure growth and success across these platforms.
With rugby league often being a tumultuous environment, Ben has the ability and experience to handle communications in a time of crisis.
“I’m excited to join RD Consulting in this time of need and help assist them in any projects and work that is helping Australia get through this difficult time for the entire nation,” Mr Pollack said. “I’m looking forward to transferring my skill set and experience working with a National Sporting Organisation, to other businesses and Government entities which are in need of assistance during these unprecedented times.”
Known as the voice of the Canberra Raiders, Cam Sullings joins RD Consulting as an Event Specialist and Presenter.
He has been the ground announcer for Raiders matches for close to ten years as well as a host for numerous corporate events.
With 30 years of experience working in radio and also his work as an MC and Public Speaking Coach for CEOs and executives, Cam brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team at RD Consulting.
Jon joins RD Consulting as a Communications Specialist after spending three years working with the Canberra Raiders across their grassroots and NRL media platforms.
He specialises in producing content for media channels, with a particular focus on written articles, photography, podcast production and video.
