Another shot taken last Friday night, at by Helen from .

In recent times I've been trying to think more about my face. Much of my facial expressions come 'naturally' as I go through the act. I let my inner feelings spring forth to my face. There are a lot of facial expressions in this series of shots. My facial expressions were also noted and liked by the judges.

Another photo from taken at on Friday night. Where I came 1st Runner up or second...yes, I will keep repeating this. It means a lot to me. I've worked hard to overcome a lot of things and I'm feeling like it's showing.

My act was my 'Love Dance'. Based on the antics of the Sparklemuffin peacock spider.

Strap it on, I mean in. This is a loooong post, but it needs to be.

On Friday night I 'competed in and I came runner up. F**k Yeah.

For the two weeks before the competition I had quite a hard time, health wise. I was quite anxious back stage, something that I really don't ever get these days, but I was. I was worried about doing a good job with the filming and editing, as I was a sponsor for the show. My hands were shaking because of being in a flare and that made doing my makeup really hard. but my fellow competitors and everyone else was just lovely. Why am I telling you all this? because I want people who are disabled, have chronic illnesses or people who think they can't do this to know that you can.

Congratulations to Mauve Devine. I met Mauve many years ago, doing Miss Kitka's House of Burlesque shows and it was a real pleasure to be backstage with Mauve after so many year and to see her win. She gave us such a treat. She showed us how old style, vintage burlesque is done. so good.

Congratulations for winning the Vivienne Award and who is clearly very much a rising star.

Okay, local drag kings, tell me who you are and your social media handles. I want to list you in a resource in my upcoming drag king workshop, so that you can get more followers (or if you know a king tell me). Also down for knowing more kings in so-called Australia. Help a chap out.
