Throw back to 2023, with my st******se act. YOu can catch this act in FrostBite, coming up on the 25th of July at GangGang cafe. Show is being produced by I haven't done this act for some time and I'm looking forward to bringing it out again. Probably with a little bit of a dusting to make it better than the original. Throwback to 2016 at MIss Burlesque ACT Final. This photo taken by . I had spent the end part of 2015 unable to move due to a very bad broken leg. I broke both the bones in the lower part of my right leg and was non weight baring. I lost a huge amount of muscle and definitely couldn't wear heels. I was building my leg muscles and gettin my leg to 'work' again in 2016. So competing in MBA where we did 3 acts and a red carpet, was a massive achievement.

Ramona is a true gem and one of my besties. They are always there to lift me up and offer me kind and encouraging words....or take off my pants in an act.

This photo was taken in about 2014 by .photography before a Miss Kitka's House of burlesque show. I only did this act a couple of times before weight gain and before my illness got worse meaning I couldn't do it anymore.

I paid tribute to my name sake. Jactatus Maratus or Sparklemuffin the peacock spider.

The spider is iridescent blue with orange markings. I mimicked these with the rhinestone I put on my jacket and other costume pieces.

Check out this amazing bunch of fellas!
These are most of the participants from my drag king workshop yesterday.

We talked drag history, why do it and other stuff. We did makeup, talked about strapping/binding, made packies and did a bit of movement.
This is the biggest workshop I've run. So many kings.

Thank you to academy in supporting me to make it happen and my buddy, who was my teachers aid/support worker

The male peacock spider, Maratus Jactatus, or Sparklemuffin, like other peacock spiders, dances to lure a mate. This act is my 'Love Dance' act. Paying homage to my namesake, Sparklemuffin. If you are in Canberra the has an exhibition on by Maria Fernanda Cardoso which is photographs peacock spiders ( I haven't been yet, but I appreciate everyone who keeps telling me about it).
