So excited to see you at Halftime Show tomorrow night! Some info about what to expect below. Feel free to DM us with any questions.
Please note, tomorrow night's Halftime Show is SOLD OUT - but tix are still available for the show in June.
Doors to the Foyer open at 5:15pm, doors to the theatre open at 5:50pm, and Halftime Show starts at 6pm. Arrive a little early to check in and mingle!
The theme of this Halftime Show is SPECTACLE, feel free to dress up and make a spectacle of yourself!
Halftime Show will take place in the Belco Arts ‘Rehearsal Room’ - a small, black box style venue on the theatre side of the building. Some free snacks will be available in the foyer, the bar will be open, and we will have merch for sale.
The first half of the show will run for about 70 minutes, followed by a 20 minute interval, and the second half will run for about 60 minutes. After that, we’ll clear away the chairs and invite you to dance!
Each act in the show is between 5-15 minutes long. There will be 6 acts in total. Between each act The Host will talk about the performances, and lead the audience through some chaos magic style rituals (it will be silly and fun!)
The show is sold out, and tickets won’t be available at the door.
Content
The show will contain nudity. The acts touch on a variety of themes. We encourage all audience members to do whatever they need to keep themselves safe and comfortable - if you need to move, squirm, fidget, or leave the venue, you are welcome to do so at any time. The Host will briefly explain the themes of each act before they begin so you can make a decision about whether you want to watch it.
Accessibility
There will be coloured and flashing lights, but no strobe effect. A mirror ball will be used in one of the acts, and during the dance time after the show. No haze will be used. During the show, the foyer will be available as a less intense sensory environment - there will be no music playing and the lights will be a neutral colour.
COVID Safety
We encourage mask wearing and doing a quick RAT before you come out. The air con system will be on in the theatre to keep the air flowing. If you are sick, please stay home to avoid spreading infections.
Venue accessibility information is available on the Belco Arts website.
