I have been working with Pete (Aka MC Takunda) every week for the past couple of of months now. Takunda is originally from Zimbabwe and has such a talent in song writing. Whether that is writing catchy hooks, spreading a good message through his music, or pouring emotion into his lyrics.

Not only have we been recording and mixing together, but I have been coaching Takunda with his artist development and helping him share his music with the world while building up his artistic image. It’s still early days but with many songs in the volt (including some gems) and the drive that he has, I can wait to help him grow as an independent artist and be apart of his music journey.

Working with Takunda is a reminder of why I love working with artists in the studio so much. And he is a true inspiration to me. He shows up every week to NewBorn Noise Studios and his hooks always stuck in my head!
