Team huddle!
If you listen closely, you may hear the sound of cogs whirring as the finishing touches of Brindabella Winter Dance Weekend 2026 are put in place.
As you finish up your ironing, sewing, or packing, here are some things you might want to know.
๐ฅฟ๐ Bring comfortable footwear for dancing. We recommend something with low/no heel and a smooth sole.
๐ง Remember to stay hydrated, so pack a water bottle.
โ๏ธ The evening temperatures will be chilly, so bring something warm to wear. On the other hand, dancing is quite an enthusiastic activity, so consider layers that can be shed and maybe even a hand fan!
๐๐ผ๐ฉ As always, costume is admired but not required for all activities this weekend. We will be in a range of Medieval and Renaissance costumes on Saturday and everything 19th Century on Sunday. Please join us if that floats your boat!
Returning friends should note that we are not at our usual location for Brindabella Winter Dance Weekend. Remember to navigate your way to All Saint's Church hall in Ainslie.
If you have a Full Weekend Ticket or an All-day Saturday ticket and plan to attend the afternoon workshop, bring a snack for your afternoon tea. Tea and coffee will be available throughout.
Also note that lunches are not provided this year, so please ensure that you schedule an early lunch for yourselves!
