On this most wondrous occasion of Wear It Purple Day() , thou art summoned to gather at the Belconnen Youth Centre for merriment most grand!

Adorn thyself in the royal hues of purple. Be it cloak, crown, or curious sock and join us in revelry from the hour of 4 o’clock ‘til 7 o’clock.

Expect festivities, fellowship, and fun aplenty. All at no cost to thy coin purse!

Thy humble performers, Miss Foo Foo, JessJoshingAround, Myth Meltdown, and Tivien shall grace the stage with delights most wondrous.

Happy Wear It Purple Day for yesterday. For the young ones and the young at heart, you are seen, heard, you are valid and I will always show up for you.

Yesterday's Wear It Purple Day event -Celebrate with the Arts saw us at Capital Region Community Services holding space for drag performances and a panel discussion by the youth, for the youth.

This event was widely supported by the community with many donating their time and money so the youth could enjoy Wear It Purple Day without seeing cost as a barrier. To everyone who donated tickets, thank you, thank you, thank you!!

A massive thank you to Guy Alias for donating his time and helping support this event. It was a long day for him too, and we love you King standing tall with us.

To all my performers, Tina Cox, Rat Bastard, Mini B (supported by Mad B), Arnie-mation and Frankie H Glamour, your dynamic performances inspired so many last night. We need to see more of you on stage.

To my panellists, Alistair Ott, Tina Cox, Rat Bastard, El, and Mika. You were vulnerable and so honest last night putting yourself out there and speaking your truths. Never stop challenging the norms. Go forth and march on.

Lastly, thank you Capital Region Community Services for seeing my vision and giving me a space to create this night for our youth. Giving back to the community in Ngunnawal/Ngambri country is a privilege and honour I recognise. Together, we can create a change.
