La Grande Fête

One of the nicest things about school fêtes is that they start slowly, through conversations after pick-up, ideas sent at midnight, people saying ‘I could help with that’, and others quietly creating WhatsApp groups before anyone even notices.

🌿 The Green Fête group has become a little bit like that.

Over the past weeks, parents have started coming together around one shared idea: making La Grande Fête not only fun abut also thoughtful about the kind of community we want to build for our children.

It also builds on something already deeply part of the school itself. Over the years, the school has led many sustainability initiatives and received multiple reawards for this work. There is already a strong culture here of students, staff and families caring about the environment in practical, everyday ways.

Recycling plans. Reusable ideas. Educational stalls. Sustainability initiatives. Small practical idea that will make a difference for our Fête.

We are also very grateful to have the support of the ACT Sustainable School Fete Program as these ideas begin taking shape.

Telopea Park School's La Grande Fête 2024 is just 15 days away!!

Fête ride tickets are now available to be purchased at an early bird discounted price.

Your early bird ticket gets you a wristband for UNLIMITED rides on the Dodgem Cars, Super Cha, Flying Chairs, the Giant Slide and the Cup and Saucer (bungee ride also available for an extra fee).

PRICE: $30 per tix/wristband, for use by one person only.

RIDE ACCESS: 10:30am - 4:30pm. Expect big queues.

Collect your wristband from the P&C Information Booth. Just show your ticket/receipt on the day.

Early bird tickets available until 1 November, or purchase wristbands from the Durkins Sales Booth at full price ($35) from 10.30am on fête day.

Gates open at 10am.
