Ballarat Dance Awards now in its 8th year of hosting beautiful dance students and their families from QLD, NSW & SA and of course all over Victoria.

BDA appreciates every one of our sponsors and hope you all support BDA and in turn “Fragile X Australia” in years to come.

We owe tremendous thanks to our master class teachers Joanne Michel, Josephine Magliolo and Ezlimar Dortolina.

Massive thankyou to our volunteers over the weekend Leah, Carmen, Hilary, Charlotte, Morgan, Gayle, Bree & Alby and anyone who helped out in any capacity.

We hope the dancers have been able to learn new skills, make new friends, achieve some personal goals and have fun!

We thank the parents, teachers, friends, supporters and audiences who came along to watch and cheer for everyone!

Final thankyou goes to our venue host VDC the KENRICK complex is a unique venue for our dancers!….

We hope everyone enjoyed themselves and hope to see you all in 2027.

Part of what the AICD does is sponsor regional Classical Ballet events throughout Australia. We start 2026 with the Ballarat Dance Awards, which are next weekend, January 18th, and 19th. Go along and watch the sessions. All proceeds from the solo day go to Fragile X Australia. Good Luck to everyone!
