Well, this is a bit exciting!

SATURDAY 20TH JUNE .

This Saturday, join us at Samford Potters Collective for a free live pottery demonstration with the incredibly talented Ellen Dhal of Kameldpark Ceramics.

Many of you will know Ellen from around the studio, but recently she was one of only eight potters selected from across Australia to compete in Throwdown Downunder at Clay Gulgong, spending a week immersed in clay alongside pottery icon Keith Brymer Jones.

Pull up a chair, grab a coffee on us and watch Ellen's beautiful, calm throwing style in action. If you've ever wondered how she creates her stunning work, now's your chance to ask questions, learn a few tips and hear all about her incredible Clay Gulgong experience.
And yes... Keith is apparently every bit as lovely in real life as you'd hope.

Whether you're a potter, clay-curious, or simply looking for something inspiring to do, we'd love to see you in the studio.

We have been so busy with the Creative Samford Arts trail over the last two weekends that it was nice to sit & watch our regular Wednesday Clay Clubbers do their thing.

We have a few spots available in our Wednesday & Friday Clay Club sessions - 4 hours of relaxed inclusive fun, access to all studio equipment & kilns. If you are looking for a space to relax & get back to having regular creativity in your life...come see us!

Our Pet Bowl Workshop was a total crowd‑pleaser!

Clay, creativity and a whole lot of adorable chaos — the perfect combo for the Samford Arts Trail. Our makers designed custom ceramic bowls for their furry besties (or for snacks… zero judgement here).

From carving and stamping to underglaze magic, everyone created something functional, personal and seriously cute.
We loved being part of the Arts Trail energy this month — thanks for championing local makers.

Today's all about getting ready for WEEKEND 2 of the Creative Samford Arts Trail.
