when all through house, 🏠
not a creature was stirring, 🤫
not even a mouse 🐁,
the leotards were hung by the door with care,🚪
for hopes that medals would soon be there 🥇
all physie girls snug as bugs in their beds 🛌,
with visions of syllabus in their heads, 💭
and Mum in her nightie and Dad in his pjs,
had just settled down for a short nap 😴
before the big day! ✨

💗 Let’s rally behind one of our incredible Physie mums, Teresa! 💗

Teresa is shaving her head to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer.

It takes an amazing amount of courage to make such a bold gesture, and we’d love our Physie family to show her just how much she’s supported.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help make a difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer. If you’re able to contribute, we’d be so grateful, and if not, sharing her fundraiser or leaving some words of encouragement means just as much.

This is Tee — our Vice Secretary and a valued member of AAW5.
This year, for our final home round on Saturday August 15th, we are proud to be supporting the McGrath Foundation as part of our charity fundraising round.
In an incredible act of courage and generosity, Tee has volunteered to shave her head on the day to raise funds for this life-changing cause.
We are aiming to raise $5,000, and we’re calling on our community to stand behind her. Every single donation, big or small, will make a meaningful difference to women facing breast cancer.
Tee’s decision to support the McGrath Foundation is deeply personal. The Foundation funds McGrath Breast Care Nurses — compassionate professionals who provide vital care, guidance, and support to individuals and families during one of the most difficult times in their lives. Their work ensures that no one has to face breast cancer alone.
Like so many of us, Tee has seen firsthand the devastating impact of this disease. A local family close to her lost a beautiful wife and mother to breast cancer — a loss that continues to be felt deeply. It’s in her honour, and for so many others, that Tee is taking this brave step.
Breast cancer has touched countless lives, and together, we can help make a difference.
