Every month, something truly special happens in our gallery.

Our Mindful Art program brings together people living with dementia, their carers, and aged care providers for a morning of connection, creativity, and conversation.

Using the artworks throughout our galleries as a starting point, participants are encouraged to share stories, memories, thoughts, and feelings inspired by what they see. These conversations often spark wonderful recollections, meaningful connections, and moments of joy.

The experience continues in our Artroom, where everyone enjoys a hands-on creative activity accompanied by a cup of tea, biscuits, and good company.

We are proud to offer this program free of charge to aged care facilities, helping make art accessible while supporting wellbeing, social engagement of our locals living with dementia.

Thank you to the aged care providers, carers, participants, and our dedicated gallery team who make each session such a rewarding experience. We look forward to welcoming our next group and creating more meaningful moments through art.
