Ronald McDonald House is an amazing charity and below I have shared my personal experience with them. I am so thankful every day that my beautiful granbaby is ok, and for the support our family received in the time after her birth.

"Stronger Together"

The artwork pays tribute to the survival, the strength and the resilience of First Nations peoples, everything that Naidoc stands for as well as our future generations. When we come together, we are stronger together.

The five community/gathering symbols are a representation of five decades of our mob showing up, celebrating and sharing our voice and culture. The handprints symbolise connection between generations and the passing on of knowledge. Boomerangs stand for the ongoing connection to our ancient traditions and continuity of Aboriginal culture, while the kangaroo tracks represent us always moving forward with pride. Across the artwork are figures shown with a continuous line throughout them, these are a representation of how strong we are as First Nations people when we stand and walk together. And the bright colours portray our evolving culture that continues to thrive.
