When I first read “Between Friends” I was so impressed I wanted to play all the roles, such was my appreciation for the fabulous dialogue that the playwrights have gifted us with. Real characters who are so human and so deliciously fallible!
Witnessing the human condition at its most vulnerable on stage is mesmerizing. Theatre that challenges, confronts and makes us ruminate long after the final curtain has the power to change us.
The number of times, on first read, that I thought, “that could have happened to me” – “that has happened to me” OR “thank goodness that didn’t happen to me!
I have been blessed with a dream team, both on stage and behind the scenes. Everyone is passionate about delivering quality community theatre. The fact that these talented people have day jobs, as well as find the time to perform for you, is amazing.
I am humbled by everyone’s support, the Rondo Management Committee, the many volunteers, the cast and crew – and now you – our audience.
