Wake Squad is back these school holidays and if your kids haven't done it before, it's worth a serious look.

It's a full-day program running Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 4pm throughout the Queensland school holidays. Kids get structured wakeboarding and kneeboarding sessions with experienced coaches, goal setting, progression charts, and plenty to keep them busy during rest time — basketball, table tennis, wakeboarding films, and more. Lunch, fruit, and an icy pole are all included.

Kids need to be 10 or older, confident swimmers, and capable of making it back to the start dock on their own. Spaces are limited.
Pricing: 1 day $99, 3 days $269, 5 days $379.

Saturday we've got Kids Club from 8:30 to 10am, Advanced Training from 11am to 1pm, and the Aqua Park running from 10am to 4pm. Sunday morning is Ladies Day from 8:30 to 10am — women only, all levels, all equipment provided.

The Aqua Park is on this weekend and it's well worth it.
Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm - slides, inflatables, climbing frames, and one hour of the kind of fun that genuinely wears them out. Ages 6 and up. Bookings are essential so we can manage numbers and make sure everyone gets their session.

Whether the kids have been asking about it for a while or you're just after something different to do this weekend, it's a good one. Get the family out of the house, get some sunshine, and let them burn some energy on the water.

We're well into term 2 now and the Kids Club riders are coming along really well.
That's what consistent sessions do. It's not one big breakthrough - it's lots of small ones adding up over weeks. The kids who've been showing up every Wednesday and Saturday are noticeably more confident on the water than they were at the start of term, and that's a great thing to watch.

If your child hasn't started yet and you've been thinking about it, there's still plenty of term left. We've got spots available for 7 to 12 year olds, all equipment is provided, and our coaches run a relaxed, encouraging session every time. Call us on 4038 1304 to book in or book online.

When did you last get out on the cable?
If it's been a while, you're not alone. Life gets busy and the wake park is one of those things people mean to get back to. But here's the thing, the water's still here, the cable is still running, and it comes back faster than you think.
Even through the cooler months there's plenty of people out there making it work. A session still gets your heart rate up and puts a grin on your face. Some things don't change.

If you're coming regularly, a membership just makes sense.
Rather than paying per session each time, a membership gives you ongoing access to the park and works out significantly better value the more you ride. Whether you're out here a couple of times a week or every weekend, there's an option that suits.
Remember, the more time you spend on the cable, the faster you improve. A membership makes it easy to show up regularly, and that's genuinely the biggest factor in how quickly someone progresses.

Dodgy Dads is on tonight.
If you haven't come along yet, it's exactly what it sounds like. Dads out on the water, giving it a crack, having a laugh, and generally making it look harder than it is. And once you're done on the water, stick around. Grab a chicken schnitty and a cold Macalister's beer at the café and bar.
It runs every second Friday from 5pm and it's one of the best sessions of the fortnight.
No experience needed. No dignity required. Just show up and give it a go. The regulars will tell you it's worth it.
