Hailing from the undergrowth, Barry Koota is the girth grifting bass & downtempo project subconciously sharded into sound from the studio of legendary ONE TASTY MORSEL. Delivering a grouse, cheeky bucket-load of twanged-out glitchfunk, Barry's bust-up of boundaries, breaks conventions and genre are not to be missed. Barry will be throwing down from 10:30PM till midnight!

Redamon's goal with his music is to create an immersive auditory experience that takes listeners to another realm, not merely catchy songs. In our humble opinion, Scotty is one of the best DJ's in Aus, expect some serious heat when he hits the decks for the closing set at 1:30AM...

HOMEBASS FNQ #2 - ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: DYSTRACTED

Coming in hot from supporting Opiuo in Brisbane are crowd favs DYSTRACTED!
Jimmy & Kyle have plenty of fresh material to drop this weekend, and we are pumped to have them onboard!

The first thing you notice, when you experience Dystracted for the first time is the cerebral edge that comes rolling through the thick flow of their dense, bass grooves. Staunch and punchy, hip-hop inspired rhythms deliver heaps of swagger, allowing shiny melodies to drift over and around you, lingering long after their set has finished up.

Starting life as a live collaboration between South-East Queensland based producers Kyle Gauthier and James Eveland, Dystracted have announced themselves on the scene, shocking everyone up with a deep, funky set at Diffraction Collective’s Block Party as well as moving heads both old and new at Rootbound Festival. After two years, having played the main stages at Mushroom Valley, Earth Frequency, Elements, and toured Tasmania, West Australia, and the east and West Coast of America, these gents are stuck in and still working hard to evolve their sound.

Inspired by Hip Hop, Glitch Hop, Drum and Bass, Deep Dub and Funk, they deliver heaving, twisted sets of bass music that sit right in that sweet, mid-tempo slot, with plenty of attitude and sexy grooves that always have the dancefloor moving.
